Located in the well known and world-famous area for young wines, the region has one of the biggest production of this wines. The winery "Adega Cooperativa of Ponte de Lima" was founded in 1959 in addition to the private bottlers. The quality wines obtained are easily distinguished by their color and aroma. You must visit the CIPVV centre to know more about this wines.

FEIRAS NOVAS - The Feira Novas festivities are the most important and happen the second weekend of September, when the hot summer sun is preparing to say farewel and Ponte de Lima adorns itself for it. Celebrated since 1826, by royal regiment of D. Pedro IV and in honor of Lady of Sorrows, the Feiras Novas offer the locals and the thousands of visitors who visit, three days and nights of color, joy, revelry and rhythm,music, folklore and fireworks.
